Paguriran Island and Lagoon
A must visit place when you’re in Sorsogon. Approximately an hour travel from Sorsogon proper
The small island lagoon with the Mayon Volcano at the back is stunning. During late afternoon and tide goes low, the beauty of the lagoon will start to show. There is a cliff diving area which you will enjoy. Be sure to bring your slippers when you explore the whole island, the rock formation is sharp and can cut thru your feet.
Bulusan Lake
Go paddling & kayaking in Bulusan Lake nestled at the heart of Bulusan Volcano National Park.
Since the area is also endowed with a very beautiful mountain landscape, trekking is as enjoyable, or even better, as the lake experience. You may opt to trek just the circumference of the lake for an hour or so, or be more adventurous and climb Mt. Bulusan and stay there overnight. A lot of trekking packages are available for mountaineer groups.
